Danish Modern Model 8000 Magnus Olesen set of 4 dining chairs

This set of 4 iconic chairs by Magnus Olsen is in a good vintage condition, with a recently refinished wood frame and reupholstered seats. However, there are some expected signs of wear, such as light scuffs and patinas on the wood due to age.

The 8000 series is a design icon produced by Magnus Olesen since 1981. The furniture is based on a unique and patended production technology without the use of screws and dowels, which makes the furniture incredibly strong and very flexible despite its low weight. The chair has been a part of many Danes’ upbringing in schools and institutional interiors and is known as part of the interior design of ‘Cafe Victor’ when it first opened in Copenhagen. The chair still stands as one of the classics of Magnus Olesen.
